Lake Brunner, New Zealand

This photograph was taken at sunset on the shores of Lake Brunner in December 2025. Lake Brunner (Māori: Kōtuku Moana or Kōtuku-Whakaoho) is the largest lake in New Zealand's West Coast region. The lake is renowned for its world-class trout fishing and stunning alpine views. It is a wonderful place to spend time in nature.
